These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for using The Tampa Dance Factory’s website, booking platforms, memberships, classes, private lessons, workshops, events, merchandise, and related services. The Tampa Dance Factory is the brand name of The Tampa Dance Factory, LLC, based in Temple Terrace, Florida. By using our website, creating an account, booking services, purchasing products, or joining any class or event, you agree to these Terms.

We offer dance instruction, movement-based classes, private coaching, workshops, social events, branded merchandise, and other in-person or digital experiences. Our services are mainly intended for adults. While we don’t currently have strict age limits, some classes or events may be restricted based on maturity, safety, or suitability. We may update schedules, instructors, pricing, class formats, offerings, or availability at any time.

Bookings may be handled through our website or trusted third-party platforms for scheduling and payments. Some services may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Payment is due at the time of booking unless stated otherwise. We may offer drop-in classes, memberships, class packs, private lessons, workshops, events, merchandise, or promotional offers. Additional terms may apply at checkout. If we offer recurring memberships or auto-renewing plans in the future, billing schedules, renewal details, and cancellation steps will be clearly explained before purchase. We reserve the right to fix pricing errors, decline suspicious transactions, or cancel purchases made through misuse or fraud.

Cancellation, Credits & No-Show Policy- To be fair to both students and instructors:

• Group classes require at least 2 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

• Private lessons require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

• Late cancellations or missed reservations may result in full forfeiture.

• No-shows are subject to 100% forfeiture of the class, session, or credit used.

Purchases are generally non-refundable, though account credit may be issued in select cases at our discretion. If The Tampa Dance Factory cancels a service, you may receive a rescheduled appointment, transfer, or account credit. Memberships, packages, class credits, and promotional offers may include expiration dates, attendance limits, freeze options, renewal terms, or other conditions shared at purchase. Unused sessions or credits may expire based on the terms selected at checkout.

Dance, movement, and fitness activities involve physical effort and some level of risk. By participating, you confirm that you are physically able to join, accept those risks voluntarily, and agree to follow instructor guidance and studio safety rules. If you have health concerns, please consult a qualified medical professional before starting any exercise or movement program. Participation in classes, memberships, class packs, or registrations may require agreeing to a separate liability waiver and release. If required waivers are not completed, participation may be denied without refund.

We’re committed to creating a respectful, professional, and welcoming environment. The following are not allowed:

• Harassment

• Inappropriate touching or misconduct

• Unsafe behavior

• Disruptive conduct

• Use of alcohol or illegal drugs on-site or during events

• Repeated disregard of instructor or staff direction

We may deny entry, remove participants, suspend accounts, or end services without refund if these standards are violated.

Classes, events, and private sessions may be photographed or recorded for promotional, educational, security, or business purposes. By participating, you give permission for your likeness, image, or voice to appear in media used by The Tampa Dance Factory unless you notify us in writing ahead of time. Student filming may be allowed in some situations at our discretion, but may be limited for privacy, instruction quality, or operational reasons. All branding, logos, website content, graphics, videos, choreography owned by The Tampa Dance Factory, written materials, and marketing assets belong to The Tampa Dance Factory, LLC or its licensors. Nothing may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission. By sharing your contact information or booking services, you may receive transactional messages related to bookings, schedules, reminders, and account activity. With consent where required by law, you may also receive occasional marketing emails or text messages. You can opt out of promotional communications anytime.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Tampa Dance Factory, LLC, its owners, instructors, contractors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to use of our website, bookings, services, or participation in activities, except where prohibited by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts located in or nearest to Hillsborough County, Florida. We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions take effect once posted on our website. Continuing to use our services after updates means you accept the revised Terms
